"There are few restaurants I would say you must go to, but this is absolutely one of them. Possibly one of the best “fine dining” experiences Ive had. It’s fine dining but at the same time very intimate and casual. The food is unbelievably good, I enjoyed quite literally every item on the menu that night. We had 6 courses of a set menu and every item was so well thought out and executed. The menu changes every so often - and I can safely say I will be back to try every seasonal menu change (if I can get a booking). An example of one of my favourite dishes here was a kimchi bread which was injected with cheese - can’t even put into words how good this was. Gotta talk about the service - it’s fantastic. We sat at the chef’s table, right in front of the kitchen. The chefs on duty are amazing and very entertaining, always happy to answer questions and even to talk casually. Food comes out at the perfect pace, and the chef was so generous with the portions. When we finished a dish quickly (hard not to) they even served us seconds. The venue is great, it’s small and intimate and the perfect environment for a great experience. You will most definitely have to book to get in, but do it - it’s worth your while. Parking is easy, place is so accessible. Nothing more to say except that you need to come here and try it out, I’ll be back for sure."

"This place is really something special, I didn’t get photos of the last 2 courses as the wine took over me and I just wanted to eat! But everything was absolutely perfect. I cannot recommend enough to book the chefs table and watch how cool calm and collected this team is it’s quite amazing. Food was out of this world but the grilled beets was the top of the list for me and for my partner it was the Scollop dish! One of the best food experiences I’ve had hands down."

This was my first visit back in a while, and I can confidently say that it exceeded all expectations. One of the highlights of my evening was being seated at the chef's table, (bar) where I could witness all the culinary magic happening. The attentive team at Daph's made sure that my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional, they provided top-notch service. I opted for the wine matching option, and I highly recommend it. The paired wines complemented each course perfectly. One of the standout features of Daph's is their use of an open fire for cooking. The aroma and taste of the dishes prepared this way added a unique and delightful touch to the entire meal. The set menu, consisting of six items that change monthly, showcases the creativity and talent of the culinary team. Will be back soon to try the Sunday roast."

"Daph’s just became my new favourite restaurant. The service was faultless, friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The food exquisite. Bread with black vinegar yum. Cauliflower cheese sauce absolutely delicious. Each course was a delight, our taste buds were singing. Perfectly matched to some delicious wines. "Service was good, staffs are very polite with manner, friendly. The dining environment is very comfy cozy not loud. Food is pretty good. Small portion and you won’t feel too full afterwards which is good. We booked the six course menu ($85pp). April menu includes Cauliflower, Chargrilled Squid, Stuffed chicken breast, Coal roasted pork chop, Mandarin ice cream with coconut & lime leaf custard."
