"Great little place to stay lost power for a little while other then that very homely. Wild life come to visit at the back porch."
"Lovely cottage within walking distance to trails and a cafe with good coffee. Stunning verandah with lots of wild birds and rainforest views. Perfect for a family of four, not overly fancy but it was everything one needs. Private carpark in front. Lots of fantastic sightseeing options in the area, countless waterfalls, natural bridge, swimming holes. Can highly recommend."
"We had a lovely time at the cottage. We really enjoyed our stay and being able to enjoy bush walks (Twin Falls Circuit including Rainbow Falls and also Purling Brook Falls Circuit and some other shorter ones). It was very relaxing to have a base to come back to where it was so peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed seeing the birds on the deck. The cottage has been done up in such an inviting way. However, there were a few issues: The water filter did not seem to work as the water from the filter was almost just as brown as what came out of the normal tap. This was really a worry. I later saw some Brita filters below the sink, but was not sure how old they were and did not want to use them. You may want to bring your own clean water. When I wanted to use the beautiful green blanket/cover (because it was too hot for a doona) I found it quite smelly and did not use it. It really needs a wash."
"Quiet. Cosy. Beautiful scenery and wildlife. Birds and possums visit for a feed on the back verandah daily. Very helpful owner who is quick to respond. Right on the doorstep of a gorgeous national park with waterfall and tracks. Definitely coming back."
"Life is so busy, we haven’t had our own holiday here for a few months! It was Harry’s 13th birthday on Friday so came with his friend Ewan and cousin Anna. All had a great time, the kids found an eel in the creek! (dead unfortunately with a toad in its mouth!) the things you see here! Always something new. So lovely to read the comments in the guest book & see the childrens art work. Really touched by some of the lovely comments and amazed and pleased at how well everyone has cared for the cottage and looked after all the books, games, dvds etc. Thank you all so much! We are so happy that our little touches are appreciated. It was a beautiful clear starry night on Saturday, you could see so many stars from the deck, it would have been a great night for a tour at the obsevatory! I left some of my hand made jewellery (inspired by springbrook) there at Helen’s craft shop- check it out if you have time “Dragonfly cottage designs”! Springbrook is a great place so enjoy your stay!"
