Welcome to Halifax Street Children's Centre & Preschool, located at 257 Halifax Street in Adelaide, Australia. Our establishment is not just a school, but a point of interest and a place for learning. We believe that children have the right to be actively engaged in their community and we value the many opportunities for learning both inside and outside of the classroom.

At Halifax Street, we prioritize the development of healthy approaches to food and nutrition. We understand that a child's context and environment play a crucial role in their learning, so we have created a space that is dedicated to their growth and development.

As a community-based, not-for-profit early childhood center, we offer high-quality early learning and preschool education to children aged from 6 weeks to school age. Our convenient location in the beautiful south-eastern corner of Adelaide caters to families living and/or working in the city.

We strongly believe that teachers make a difference in early learning and development, which is why we have dedicated early childhood teachers leading the learning programs for each age group. We also foster strong relationships between our children and the local community, including partnerships with the Hutt St Library and the St Andrew's Hospital Community Garden.
