Welcome to CBC Community Children’s Centre, located at 178 East Terrace in Adelaide, Australia. As an establishment and point of interest, we are proud to offer a unique and innovative partnership with Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, providing our boys with a world of opportunities.

At CBC, our boys share a deep sense of purpose and belonging, and are excited about what is possible. They are also advocates for a compassionate and caring community, fostering a positive and inclusive environment for all.

Our Early Learning Centre (ELC) is nestled within the beautiful City East Parklands and welcomes boys and girls over the age of 6 months. We prioritize creating a safe, friendly, and nurturing environment where dignity, respect, and kindness are valued.

In partnership with parents and caregivers, our ELC supports every child in growing and developing age-appropriate abilities to reach their full potential. We are inclusive and respectful of culture, race, gender, and ability, and our caring staff welcomes and celebrates diversity, recognizing each child as a unique and valued individual.

At our ELC, children have the opportunity to grow, explore, and flourish. We are committed to fostering a love of learning in a supportive, inquiry-play-based environment, inspired by the Reggio Emilia principles. Our aim is to develop each child's individuality and promote them as inquiry learners.

Through our open-ended environments and experiences, children are actively involved in deep learning and exploration. We follow each child's individual interests and talents to promote their inquiry-based learning. Language is encouraged as a tool for investigation, exploration, and reflection, and children are listened to with respect, believing that their questions and observations provide opportunities for learning and growth.

In our holistic play-based program, children are guided in a positive manner and provided with educational experiences that promote agency, responsibility, independence, and socialization. These experiences also develop cognitive skills, creativity, communication skills, and ingenuity.

Our Universal Access Program seamlessly integrates educational preparation for preschool children into our long day-care service, providing parents with the flexibility of full day-care throughout the year. Children aged three to five are taught by a university-qualified teacher, ensuring they are prepared for school.

For boys continuing their education, we offer a free multiple-visit transition program at our Junior Campus, designed to give them the best start to their first year at school.

We highly encourage you to take a tour of our Early Learning Centre (ELC) during one of our Principal's Tours. Additionally, we offer a Reception Transition Program in Term 2 and Term 4 to ensure a smooth and seamless transition from early childhood settings to the school environment.
