Welcome to Goodstart Early Learning Somerton Park! Located at 63 Oaklands Road, our establishment is a point of interest and a school for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. Our newly constructed centre, opened in late 2017, features seven separate, naturally inspired learning spaces that provide children with the opportunity to freely explore both indoor and outdoor environments. Our educators are passionate about providing nurturing and stimulating early learning experiences, guided by the Early Years Learning Framework.

At Goodstart Somerton Park, we prioritize the development and well-being of your child. Our state-of-the-art facilities offer exceptional learning environments, and our highly trained teaching staff are dedicated to creating a holistic learning experience. We also provide a school readiness and transition to school program, ensuring that your child is prepared for their educational journey.

We understand the importance of building meaningful relationships with our families. Our centre is focused on creating a warm and welcoming community, where families feel supported and involved in their child's learning. We use Storypark, an online learning portfolio, to keep families connected and informed about their child's progress.

In addition to our educational focus, we also provide practical support. Our onsite qualified cook prepares fresh and nutritious meals daily, catering to all dietary requirements. We provide meals, nappies, wipes, cot linen, and sunscreen at no extra charge. We also offer a Subsidy Estimator tool to help you determine your eligibility for Child Care Subsidy.

As the Centre Director, I am dedicated to creating a safe and happy environment for all children in our care. I believe in building strong relationships with both children and families, ensuring that everyone feels valued and supported. I am also a parent myself, which allows me to understand the needs and perspectives of families in our centre.

Our centre is conveniently located with onsite parking available for pick-up and drop-off. We are situated on the corner of Oaklands Road and Muriel Avenue, with entry to the car park via Muriel Avenue.
