Our dedicated team of educators, led by Centre Director Senka Jelic, is passionate about creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can see themselves as confident and capable learners.

As a leader in the early childhood education profession, Senka understands the importance of inspiring and empowering educators. She believes that strong and meaningful relationships are the foundation for creating a sense of belonging and enabling children, families, and educators to flourish. Senka values the partnership with families, recognizing that parents are their child's first educators and know them best.

Our institution offers a range of services to support families, including a Subsidy Estimator tool that helps determine Child Care Subsidy eligibility and a vacancy search for those looking to join our team. Additionally, we provide Goodstart at Home, a platform that allows parents to extend their child's learning through play in the comfort of their own homes.

Outside of work, Senka enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her 8-year-old daughter. She is thrilled to be part of the Goodstart Semaphore South team and looks forward to working collaboratively to ensure that our institution remains a place where children, families, and educators can thrive.

Located at the beach end of Bower Road, closest to Military Road, our institution is easily accessible. As Australia's largest early learning provider and a proud not-for-profit organization, Goodstart has been recognized for its commitment to child safety and cultural respect.
