Welcome to Wandana Community Centre, located at Gilles Plains, Blacks Road, 14. As an establishment and point of interest, we believe that the heart of a strong community lies in a meeting place where people can gather, share information, and forge friendships. Wandana is exactly that, and we are excited to meet you soon.

Our packed Term 3 program is in full swing, offering a variety of activities for all ages and interests. Join our fortnightly cooking class or participate in long-time favorites such as the community garden, walking group, patchwork quilting, seniors fitness, the Little Steps playgroup, craft and chat sessions, and children’s dance activity. We have vacancies across all our programs and warmly welcome new participants.

In addition to our program offerings, we are delighted to announce the return of Wandana's pop-up supermarket in 2023. Trading fortnightly from July 26 between 10.30am-12.30pm, our low-cost supermarket provides fresh fruit, vegetables, bread, and other pantry staples. This initiative is a joint venture between Wandana and Gepps Cross-based The Food Centre, dedicated to assisting individuals and families on low incomes or facing financial challenges. Please remember to bring your own shopping bags, and EFTPOS is available for your convenience.

Furthermore, we are proud to partner with Centacare and COTA to offer Strength for Life, a weekly fitness class designed to improve mobility, strength, and balance under the guidance of a qualified instructor. Please note that an initial assessment is required, which costs $30, followed by a $5 fee per class thereafter. Centacare Catholic Family Services is a Catholic welfare organization providing a range of services across the Catholic Archdiocese of Adelaide.

We are open Monday to Tuesday from 9am to 5pm, Wednesday to Thursday from 9am to 9pm, and Friday from 9am to 5pm.
