"Stay away from the Skechers slip-on ("hands-free) Archfit shoe. (for men). I bought it for 179$ in Adelaide, and what a waste. It seemed alright when i wore it in-store, but the next day when i was coming back from my first walk in that shoe, i could feel a bit of pain at the back of my ankle. When i reached home i realised my skin was ripped off at the back of both ankles. I tried wearing it and going for a walk again next day, but it pained horrendously. Something is really wrong with its cushioning at the back. This is after the first day i wore it, with skin torn off at the back of both my ankles. I used a New Balance shoe for more than an year before this, and never faced any issue! Pathetic quality control by Skechers! Plus their soles have also become very poor quality with time, they start to rip up after just a few months. Did not face this issue with a New Balance shoe last year, even after having worn it for more than an year."
