"Not worth the money paid! Food was average. Not a busy night, but had to ask for two dishes twice one never came. Definitely will not wasting my money there again. When asking for veggies make sure you ask for 5 servings to as picture attached shows you the poor display you get, very very thinly sliced veggies!"
"This place is great value. The service is fast and friendly and the food is damn good. It is not comparable to a high end authentic Japanese restaurant, however you will not leave feeling like you are still hungry. I tried many dishes that I wouldn't usually try and was pleasantly surprised."
"Sushi choice so little and not tasty, rice without flavour in sushi, things cooked in so much oil that vegetables was soo oily, couldn’t even eat, only good from all menu was beef and gyoza, personal was nice."

Always available to take additional food orders. It's not the easiest place to find without lighting in the carpark or a lot out front. But it's definitely worth finding. We are already planning our next booking."
"Had a great dinner at Okami Newton. We are regulars at a few different Okami's in Melbourne and this is as good as any of those. Really loved the beef carpaccio, chicken karaage, sushi and sashimi platter and the prawn gyoza. Everyone at the table enjoyed the food. While it was obvious that they were running short of wait staff, those on the floor did a great job servicing our table and we were more than happy with the service we received. Thanks for a great dinner with family."
