"Excellent service provided by Dr Bumbak from start to finish. Would highly recommend him to anyone seeking paediatric ENT surgery. Pleasure to deal with."
"Dr Bumbak has looked after our family for so many years. Paul is a wonderful, gentle man with a great bedside manner and is amazing in his practice."
"Was referred here by my son's dentist to check if he had any respiratory issues. Spoke to a friend prior to the appointment (coincidentally she had been to this practice too) and she had nothing but good things to say about Dr Bumbak. Went to the initial appointment and I found Dr Bumbak to be highly engaging with my son (he's 5). He put him at ease which then allowed the Dr to continue his examination with minimal fuss. Returned 6wks later for an update and Dr Bumbak was again, excellent. He was happy to engage with my children and went for the least invasive option to fix my son's breathing. Can't fault his bedside manner and engagement with both myself and my children. I appreciate Dr Bumbak's expertise and would recommend his services, especially to those with younger children."
"I brought my daughter to see Dr. George Sim this morning. He was friendly and understanding of our current situation with our child. I will definitely see him again in the future if need be. However I was absolutely appalled by the receptionist behind the desk. I would like to think she was possibly having a bad day and we were the ones to cop it, but her attitude towards us was in my opinion disgusting. She hadn't been very warm from when we arrived (possibly as we were late because we'd been to the wrong clinic by mistake), but we were clearly already stressed for being late and also have a sick child to add to that. As we were about to leave my baby decided it was the time to have a nappy change and as I went to source the bathroom for this, the receptionist mentioned they had no change table. Thats fine, not many places do these days. Im used to being prepared with my own mat. She continued to tell me I couldn't do this on their bathroom floor and would need to find else where to do it.. I rushed to that toilet for myself knowing I had a hunt ahead of me for a change table only to find the bathroom shower had a table set up, with baby wipes and a sign saying "please do not place nappies in bin" (so clearly used for this purpose). I came back to grab my daughter to change her and she told me it was not to be used due to covid, it was actually the staff bathroom and I shouldn't have used it in the first place. This amongst other comments just left we feeling more stressed, frazzled and at a loss than when I turned up for the appointment. Please note, I have no idea what covid protocols are, however anywhere else I have been here in WA change tables have been available still for babies, and its also something I am unable to control. I wish I'd had the balls to confront her behaviour at the time, but I clearly had other things on my mind. Please may you read this and acknowledge how your behaviour affects those seeking help with your clinic and how it can change the entire experience for us. I would happily be leaving 5 stars for the service we paid to get, if it weren't for this. Hopefully you were just having a bad day and are much friendlier on other days."
"We came to Paul for a second opinion after not feeling confident in the first diagnosis from another ENT. So glad we did as the suggested path forward aligned with our feelings and allowed us to quickly move towards a solution for our 2 year old son. Paul actually reads his patients history before an appointment and takes the time to explain any questions you have in a way you can understand. He and his staff were amazing at every step of the process and the experience in surgery was amazing, with everyone so accommodating and totally alleviating any anxieties we had beforehand. Couldn’t recommend Paul and his team enough and so grateful for the improvements we have seen in our son since."
