Having completed her medical training in South Africa, she graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree from the prestigious University of the Witwatersrand in 2005. Afterward, she pursued further training in Townsville, Queensland, and specialized in Haematology in Perth.

Dr de Wet's expertise extends beyond general haematology, as she has a particular interest in geriatric and obstetric haematology. Her passion for providing exceptional care to patients of all ages and backgrounds has led her to become a trusted healthcare professional in the field.
