Now, let's talk about our namesake - the Tagine. In Moroccan cuisine, the Tagine is both the cooking vessel and the dish. This unique cooking process involves steam rising to the top of the cone-shaped lid, condensing, and falling back into the dish. This ensures that the ingredients are kept moist and the meat becomes incredibly tender and buttery. At Tagine Tapas and Grill, we take pride in preparing our dishes using this traditional cooking method, resulting in a truly authentic Moroccan experience.
So, whether you're a fan of Moroccan cuisine or looking to explore new flavors, Tagine Tapas and Grill North Perth is the place to be. Reviews
"For any review to be meaningful and reflective of a Restaurant, it should only be written after 3 visits perhaps over 2 month's. Moroccan food is not something we are all familiar with, however Greek, Indian, and Middle Eastern flavours we recognise. We are fortunate Australia has good quality ingredients to truly allow chef's to shine. Well cooked ingredients thoughtful attention to detail and presentation makes for happy foodies. I will return as some aspects of our evening could be misinterpreted, not allowing this first visit to fully show this restaurant at its best, thank you."
"Food was absolutely amazing! Did the full tapes and tagine! The spiced cauliflower is something special! The owner was super homely and accommodating. Would highly recommend this place as a group dinning experience or a nice spot for a date"
"Lovely Morocco restaurant in North Perth. The staff were lovely, the place nicely set out and the service prompt with a smile. Ordered a couple of entrees and a main. The entrees were tasty and good size meals. The main was another story, it was very short on meat and very generous amount of couscous. For $29 this was disappointing as it was tasty but I didn't order couscous with a side meat, but that is what I got. The belly dancer was a nice touch and was a lovely way to finish the night. 3 stars as we aren't short of cows..."
"First timers at Tagine in North Perth Firstly we were seated promptly as the restaurant was very quiet the night we attended, although we had booked a table for 2 via there website booking. We were provided with flat bread firstly which was very hard, cold and dry. We mentioned this to the female waitress however her reply was " these are complimentary " we responded by asking for some dips to hopefully help with the stale, hard, dry taste. Was a bit like trying to eat a dry chamois cloth. Mains were tasty but I've certainly had better. Service was slow and at times we felt we were being ignored. Service could have been better with more emphasis on the customer which would have given us a better feeling of being a valued customer to return. This in turn would mean we would have given a better rating - food 3 / Service 2/ atmosphere-surrounding 4"
"Wow, feel like I was transported to Morocco when I walked into the restaurant. Authentic flavors bursting with every bite. Portions were huge for what you pay for. Extensive menu for everybody to try out. Friendly service by Paul & the crew. Would definitely come back with friends to try out more dishes. Only comment is baby high chair was dirty & grubby & my Prosecco was flat. But other than that, no complains about the the fantastic food & service."
