"went into get a helix piercing done today. the piercer dropped the top of the earring inside my ear and did nothing to try and help to get it out, just saying “oh sorry”. still had to pay full price for the piercing that’s not even straight upon inspection. i’m now in the ER having to get the jewellery piece removed. not happy."

"I attended this store wanting to purchase a nose ring and a pair of flat back earrings to the value of at least $50. I entered the store and the assistant started serving me. During this time the phone rang and she said “would you excuse me for one moment”. She proceeded to answer the phone and on answering the phone it was clear she was expecting a phone call and knew who she talking to. She was heard by both myself and the person I was with stating “Oh hey Paul thanks for getting back to me”. At this point another sales assistant returned to the store and she then said “give me a second Paul” and covered the voice piece of the phone before asking the other sales assistant to assist me as she needed to take this phone call as it was Paul from head office and it was about the new display. The younger girl then started serving me. The original assistant went over to the stand - being the stand that displayed the flat back earrings I was interested in purchasing and ushered me out of the way whilst she approached the stand. I continued to engage with the other assistant when several times she scolded us for speaking too loud and stated she couldn’t hear the person on the phone. She then snapped and said “come on guys I can’t hear” whilst looking at us with this indignant expression and then proceeded to walk away from the stand and said “Paul I am going to have to call you back I can’t hear a thing you’re saying”. It was at this point my friend said “let’s just go and come back another time” and I then said “I am a customer you know?” And she then replied and said “well so is this person” when they clearly were not and if they were a customer she certainly knew them very well. Furthermore, I was actually physically present in the store and my service was interrupted by the phone call. I would have thought that the physical presence of a customer is a priority over a phone call. I walked away extremely embarrassed and without making a purchase. I will never step foot in an Essential Beauty store again and certainly not Golden Grove nor would I recommend anyone shop at this business. I cannot believe the way I was spoken to and treated in store - it was nothing short of completely unprofessional, disrespectful and downright disgusting. I only hope future customers aren’t subjected to the treatment I received."

"So pleased with the service we received when taking my daughter to have her ears pierced. Staff were very patient, even after we had to leave as she got too nervous. When we returned a short time later staff were very supportive and pierced her ears quickly and professionally."

"The staff are absolutely amazing, so friendly and welcoming. They make you feel very relaxed and comfortable. The serve is alway very professional never have to wait long and always run their bookings to schedule . I drive out of my way just to come to the Golden Grove Highly recommend to everyone!"
