"My family and I went to blue velvet one night to have a classic Italian pizza as we’ve done multiple times prior. Initially the service was amazing, friendly staff, quick service and as usual the pizza was ready within 10minutes of ordering. The pizzas were incredible but my father found a hair in his pizza. Not an issue as mistakes happen and the lady that saw us was very apologetic. When paying for the order however the other waitress tried to charge us for the pizza as “you had almost eaten it all”. My father told them that we were not paying for a pizza with a hair in it for obvious reasons. The chef then came over and tried to allude that my bald father put the long blonde hair in his own pizza and after denying a few times went in my fathers face saying “hit me, hit me” After going to blue velvet for multiple years we are disappointed and angry at the service provided today."

"we went all out trying 3 entrees, 2 pizzas and 2 desserts. They don’t offer pasta on weekdays, otherwise we would have tried that too. Everything was quite bland. I was excited to try the house made bread with the entree, however it was cut so thin (as pictured) and then toasted and butter on it, there’s no way to taste the bread itself. The potato croquet was just plain potato, no flavour at all - tasted like a hash brown, not something I’d choose to eat with dinner and the arancini ball was over cooked on the outside with the rice hard on the inside.. underwhelmed with the entree, but open minded for the pizza. Pizza came and it was really missing flavour. The dough is delicious (which is why I gave 2 stars instead of 1), but it needs some sort of flavour on top. Apple strudel for dessert has more nuts than apple in it. A lot left to be desired. Our bottle of water was dirty on the inside (pictured) The 2 Italian ladies front of house were running like mad, the younger one seemed very stressed the entire time we were there. Maybe adding 1 extra to front of house will give a better environment. We wore jumpers, however had to go to our car to get big jackets to wear. If you’re sitting in the front room you’ll need it. For our $170 dinner for 2 we definitely could have eaten somewhere else better."

"Amazing! Best pizza I've had in Adelaide! Great service too! It truly shows that the owners put effort into making quality pizza with great ingredients! Even the pizza crust taste good! Can definitely recommend this restaurant. They have a good range of desserts, tea and coffee too. Thoroughly enjoyed the pizza!"
