"I took my 7 month old kitten there and we sat in a empty waiting room for long enough to wonder what was going on and why our kitten who had fallen from the top landing of our stairs onto the lower staircase wasn’t being seen nor had had any communication from anyone? The biggest annoyance to this wait was seeing UberEats deliver food to one of the staff which meant they were on their break?? While we could hear laughing and joking for another 40 mins with no one paying our worried faces any attention or mention of being seen urgently? When we did get seen Dr Whitney was pleasant and was quite lovely towards our kitten but the male and another female that took our payment were unprofessional disinterested and appeared to have rather been somewhere else? They need more experienced staff and passionate team leaders that act in a way vets and nurses should act in a clinic? I understand there’s a vet shortage but these younger staff members really don’t give clients confidence when they prioritise takeaways laughing and carry on out the back to people worried sick about their pets! Summer made a full recovery after using up 1 of her 9 lives! We hope she doesn’t try to fly again off the landing"
"EVH saved my cat Nico’s life. He had been recently diagnosed with diabetes on top of his IBD and I had been giving him too much insulin without realising. I had come home from work to find him barely alive, cold and stiff, after experiencing hypoglycaemia and potentially seizures. I didn’t think he’d make it that night but because of the EVH team he made a miracle recovery. They let me see him at his worst all hooked up and tremoring, as well as when he regained consciousness but was blind because they knew that I wanted to see him. They updated me regularly and were so kind, supportive, understanding and comforting. Because of them me & Nico have a second chance and I’ll be forever grateful. Nico has made such a magical recovery (the magic being veterinary science). My only issue is in myself because I don’t remember the name of each vet I met on the after hours team that night as I was so stressed and anxious. Thank you so much everyone."
"I don’t often write reviews but I feel like I had to do one in this case. The team at EVH Emergency Vet Hospital are amazing. I had to rush my girl Lexie to them on Monday night. From the start they were nothing but understanding and supportive. Unfortunately there wasn’t much we could do, but they allowed me to be there and hold her during the entire process. Even allowing me to come back today with my family to say our final goodbyes. They explained everything in detail and honestly made the situation that little bit easier knowing she didn’t suffer. I couldn’t thank the team here enough for everything!"
"Thank you to the team at EVH emergency My dog was attacked late at night and we had to rush him in to get stitches. They were really great with explaining things, reassuring me and overall helping my anxiety as well as Yukis. 3 days in and he’s on the mend, no infection, his wounds are healing and he’s back to his happy old self."
"We would like to thank Jeanine and all the staff at EVH who took very good care of Leo after he has been bitten by a dog and had to undertake two surgeries. Thank you for being patient with us as well and answer all questions, phone calls or emails. Leo is doing very well! Carlotta & Jack"
