Reviews
"Sadly I wouldn't come here again. Mainly disappointed in the price and quality. I work in hospitality myself, I know I am the type of difficult customer with this review but as a German and a foodie I would not want other people to think that this is how German food it. Had the brewery pan, husband had the schnitzel with fries which was good, the brewery pan was quite blunt. The sausage was sadly not my thing and I don't know what sausage it was supposed to b, I couldn't tell. The kassler had a super unusual & hard texture, not what you'd expect for a traditional kassler. considering how much we paid, very disappointing. Staff was friendly, quite young and casual and seemed kinda a little unprofessional, again considering the price. We asked for frozen Brezel as starter, but came with the two main meals and one of the main meals was handwarm. Dessert took 30 min to come out and was almost cold too. Paid over 120$ for a experience that was quite underwhelming. The restaurant itself was nice and warm, definitely a good location. I personally would recommend it more to go for drinks and the "non German " food like burgers maybe and steaks. By the way you should check out Hela Butcher to supply you with meat with sausages. They are authentic!!!"
"order the largest platter, even with a group of five people, nearly can't finish it! Super crispy Knuckle is the best part, and all the sausage are good tasting, all the other side dish are fair too. we order tasting beer plate too, AUD15 with 5cups of 110ml tasting beer, absolutely worth for it. Sum up is a good value for sharing with your friends and family. Here also is a nice place for gathering."
"worth every cent! the pork trotter crackling was to die for, and the roasted potatoes, sauerkraut and sausages were the perfect accompaniment. pricey but will revisit for sure!"
"I was so craving for German sausage so we went to this place on the way back to Perth after a short trips from swan valley. Delicious German food with good portion, we took 4 kids with us and they all enjoy the kids food from the kids menu. The beer tasting also nice Highly recommend for the family must visit. ❤️"
"I am Austrian and I definitely enjoy the food and the beer there. Schweinshaxn is definitely a must have and the Hefeweiss Bier is a good option to go with! For 2 People with Pork Knuckle the price would be around +100$, what is okay in my eyes!"
