"Dined here 6 weeks ago and was disappointed but in the interest of supporting local thought we would give it a second shot…. They were not busy but it was poor. We were assured all would pasta was made in house as my son has an egg allergy. They were not willing to serve our son the hot chips as they didn’t know whether they contained eggs. The Tortellini was not availablewhen we tried to order it. Most of the food was Luke warm and had been microwaved. After ordering Tiramisu and Sticky date for desert we were told the tiramisu was sold out and they had no ice-cream for the sticky date. The cream brûlée was cold"
"So after reading previous reviews I was sceptical about going but wanted to get my own opinion of the place. Well I can say I'm glad I didn't follow the bad reviews, portion sizes are spot on , food was tasty and authentic and customer service was excellent. This place deserves more customers and in my opinion is a hidden gem. I will be returning. Well done to the owners and chefs."
"First time ordering from this restaurant. Both dishes were very tasty & deliver piping hot & ready to eat. Spaghetti marinara was really good, big prawns & pieces of fish along with calamari & mussels in a very nice tomato based sauce. Penne arrabbiata was also good but maybe a little light on with the sausage & olives which we did ask them to add. But overall a really good first order & will be back again"
"Booked dinner here with the family. I had the Gnocchi Bolognese for my main. It was average at best for Italian. Staff were nice. Restaurant was very dated/casual. l wouldn’t recommend this place if you have high expectations for Italian food."
"Once again we had a lovely Italian lunch. Chicken Marsala was so tasty. Chicken oh so tender. Chicken Scallopini was enjoyed. Finished off with tiramisu which melted in my mouth and coffee. I have never been disappointed. Well done guys"
