Dr Jeffrey Goh is an experienced medical oncologist and an Adjunct Professor at Queensland University of Technology (QUT). He consults and treats patients at Icon Cancer Centre Chermside, Icon Cancer Centre Greenslopes, and Icon Cancer Centre Wesley. Dr Goh completed his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Monash University in 1996 and then moved to Adelaide for his residency. He later relocated to Brisbane to establish his specialist career, starting as a haematology & oncology registrar at Greenslopes Private Hospital in 2002. He continued his training at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, where he held positions as a laboratory and clinical haematology registrar in 2003. Dr Goh completed his advanced specialist medical oncology training in Brisbane and became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in 2007.

In 2008, Dr Goh was appointed as a staff medical oncologist at Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital (RBWH). He also started his private medical oncology practice as a Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) at Greenslopes Private Hospital and later at Icon Cancer Centre Chermside. Dr Goh continues to play a significant role as a senior staff specialist at RBWH.

Dr Goh is actively involved in numerous clinical trials, serving as a principal investigator (PI) in various phase I/Ib, II, and III gynaecological oncology, urological malignancy, and early phase drug trials at RBWH, Icon, and Greenslopes Private Hospital. He is also a co-investigator in several other multi-centre clinical trials in oncology. Dr Goh maintains a strong interest in clinical research and is a member of leading cancer trial groups such as the Australian and New Zealand Urogenital & Prostate Cancer Trials Group (ANZUP), American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), International Gynecologic Cancer Society (IGCS), and European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO). He has previously served as a Board Member and chair of the QA Committee of the Australia & New Zealand Gynaecological Oncology Group (ANZGOG) and currently chairs the Cervical Cancer Tumour Type Working Group of ANZGOG.

Apart from his clinical and research roles, Dr Goh is actively involved in mentoring advanced trainee registrars in medical oncology at RBWH and co-supervising PhD candidates at the University of Queensland. He is a member of Icon's Research Committee and Medical Advisory Committee (MAC). Dr Goh's clinical expertise covers a wide range of solid tumour malignancies, with a special interest in gynaecological cancer, genitourinary cancer, and colorectal cancers, including phase I/Ib clinical trials.
