Welcome to ATSICHS Northgate Medical Clinic, located at Northgate, Melton Road, 313. As an establishment and health point of interest, we are dedicated to providing exceptional health and wellbeing services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the Brisbane and Logan regions.
ATSICHS Brisbane is a not-for-profit community owned organization that focuses on addressing the unique health and wellbeing needs of our community. With a range of services and programs, we strive to ensure that every individual receives the care they deserve. Our offerings include medical and dental clinics, child and family health services, youth services, social and emotional wellbeing programs, a midwifery hub, an aged care facility, and various family and child support services.
Recently, we celebrated a significant milestone, our 50th Anniversary Gala Dinner held at Brisbane City Hall on Saturday, 13 May 2023. It was a night filled with joy and gratitude as we reflected on 50 years of dedicated service to our community. Distinguished guests, including the Honorable Leeanne Enoch MP, Minister for Communities and Housing, Minister for the Digital Economy, and Minister for the Arts, joined us in the celebration.
This week, we shine the spotlight on our Youth Services team. We had the opportunity to chat with our Outreach Manager, Pita, to gain insights into his role and the importance of supporting our young people. Pita, born and raised in Brisbane, shares a deep connection with the community and is dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of our youth.
We are also proud to highlight the achievements of our scholarship recipient, Kane, who was awarded the Young, Black, and Proud Scholarship. Kane, a proud Torres Strait Islander, is currently representing Australia in the World Distance Championships in Samoa as part of the Australian Under 16s Outrigging team. This scholarship has enabled Kane to pursue his dreams and reach new heights.

"This is the third time we have had appointments rebooked that they have failed to inform us about resulting in me wasting time out of my leave entitlements for my children that they fail to make. They also neglected to give my daughter one of her vaccinations last year, resulting is colossal daycare fees due to subsidy being cut for her not being vaccinated. Doctors and nurses are fine, reception is hopelessly incompetent"
