Situated on Boundary Road, Rainworth, our medical center underwent a renovation in 2014, expanding from a two-room practice to a modern facility with six consultation rooms and two treatment rooms. Our practice also employs five highly skilled nurses who assist in delivering a comprehensive range of general practice services to our patients.

At Bardon Rainworth Medical Centre, we are committed to providing the highest quality care. Our practice is accredited through QPA (Quality Practice Accreditation), which conducts rigorous quality assurance processes every three years. In our most recent assessment in Spring 2022, we passed with flying colors, exceeding the high standards set by the RACGP (Royal Australian College of General Practitioners).

Dr Thompson, the current owner of the practice, purchased it from Dr Farook Ameer in June 2006. Dr Ameer had served the community for 20 years, while the practice itself was established in the 1970s by Dr John Neros.

We offer a comprehensive range of medical services, available six days a week. Our services include minor surgeries, skin checks and excisions, immunizations, health assessments, medical examinations, pediatric care, aged care, women's and men's health, musculoskeletal medicine, wound care, blood collection, and home and nursing home visits. Additionally, we provide after-hours availability for urgent medical needs.

The Queensland Children's Hospital serves as the main public children's hospital in the region.

Private hospitals in the area include the Wesley Hospital in Auchenflower, St Andrews Hospital in Spring Hill, Holy Spirit Northside Hospital in Everton Park, and the Mater Private Hospital in South Brisbane. All of these hospitals have emergency facilities and offer access to X-ray and pathology services if needed, although fees may apply.
