"One parent rule is a disgrace, my poor partner (the mum) was fatigued after waiting 7 hours in ER for results. After shifting us into short stay my partner had fallen asleep in the recliner (not even a bed) at 12:30am our 11 week old baby woke for a feed. I was then asked to leave, and sit outside. I was told I am allowed back in at 6am. This is absolutely disgusting in our opinion and it needs to change. Every parent has a right to be with their child and care for them."

"While their staff are brilliant at what they do & I have much respect for their line of work, I am extremely frustrated with their cancellations at the last minute. I am a solo mum, who works full-time and has to take annual leave to bring my child into his appointments. Queensland health requires 24 hours notice from patients to cancel their own appointments, & yet, we are not given the same courtesy. We have had an appointment booked for two months now, & 2 hours prior to the appointment I am sent a cancellation text while we are already on our way to the hospital. This is unacceptable."

"Our 5 month old baby was admitted straight away and seen by doctors within 10mins which we were not expecting from a public hospital. They were extremely thorough and made us first time parents feel calm and relaxed through everything. Highly recommend!"
