"Horrendous, the worst of the worst. Staff fine but the doctors think they are gods and never do as they say they will. 3 months of carry on, then expecting a call between 8-12 to be taken with daughter so we have all stayed in all day and now 5 pm and still nothing. We have called several times, have been told its happening and nobody has had the respect to call us for 30 secs knowing we have not had a call to let us know what's happening. The nurses and staff have no idea as the gods do not update them as their attitude is that we will wait all day and then maybe wait all of the next day and so on........."
"Hi. I would just like to say that my experience at the Marter hospital endoscopy unit was extremely wonderful. I am completely blind and because of this I did require some extra assistance which the doctors and nurses happily provided. Thank you to Lu especially who looked after me all day."
"Was taken to this hospital via ambulance, only to have to wait 6 hours to be seen by a doctor. Was not told any information regarding when I would be seen or what was going on and whenever my partner or myself would ask the nurses did not seem impressed we would ask. I was not offered a bed even though I was in lots of pain and had to sit in a chair for majority of my stay. We waited 14 hours in hospital for results that we could have found out in a few hours. Very poor experience at this hospital and would not want to come back again!"
"The staff here are wonderful, kind and caring. Had to visit the emergency ward after copping a cricket ball in the testes. The process took a long time, as can be expected, but even after arriving at 7:30pm I received great care, was administered pain relief and got an ultra-sound and diagnosis all within 8 hours. A letter was hand-written by the doctor on duty to my GP so the issue could be managed post-emergency. Thank you so much Mater Brisbane for your amazing work."
