"Booking Public House for a birthday function was a bit difficult in the coordination process but was a great experience on the day. Booking out the whole Courtyard space was really expensive, but I could see why on the day: it's a very popular space that can fit a lot of people. The online booking tool works well and is easy enough to use. However, it was difficult to get in touch with the booking team at times. The phone wasn't usually answered and there's no way to leave a message, and emails were not responded to very quickly. However, in the week prior to the booking, my call went through and all of my questions were answered with enthusiasm. On the day, we were let in easily and taken to our designated space, where our host was very attentive and helped kick people off our reserved tables if needed. Even on a cold night, the vibe was great, food and drinks were good (although not many vegan options), and there were no issues from the other guests in the space. Our remaining guests also got a free shot at the end of the night, which was perfect for the midnight birthday countdown. Thanks to the Public House team for a great night!"

"We had a function on the rooftop on Saturday night with a bunch of friends, from the moment we lined up we were greeted very respectfully from the security guards at the door, I have never experienced such a nice way to be greeted from security at a pub/club so this was very refreshing. We had our own waiter named Ray that looked after us all night that treated our group with the best customer service. The music and atmosphere was a vibe and we will definitely be back there for our next celebration. The price of food and drinks was very reasonable for a busy place like this. I can't say one negative comment,from moment we entered to the moment we left. Highly recommend for your next night out!"

"Came here for drinks and light dinner after work on a Friday night. The drinks were refreshing and amazing especially the Public Spritz ( mango, strawberry flavour ) and the long iced tea. The food was all nice too, and good for sharing with a group. Fried Chicken however left me feeling a little sick which makes me think it may have been undercooked slightly as it also tasted very slimy, and not firm, it was dark so hard to tell. Creme brûlée was very lemony and didn’t taste very authentic. Staff were all nice as well."

"Amazing views of Melbourne city from the roof top area. The only downside is you have a longish walk up and downstairs to get a drink. The service was great but the prices are a tad up there. I would recommend the roof top for an event, but not as a local pub."
