Beauty Nails

"I went in with a friend of mine today for a set of acrylic nails and it was a humiliating experience. I have been here numerous times before and have never had a negative experience. Today though, I had a young man do my nails and he already had an attitude to begin with. As i sat down, I told him that I pick my cuticles and that’s why they don’t look nice. I told him because it’s already something i’m embarrassed about when people look at my hands. I do it because of stress - something completely out of control. And i get acrylics to hopefully help break the habit. He spoke to me and treated me like rubbish and was consistently criticising my cuticles. It wasn’t just me who was uncomfortable though - i could tell the other customers, my friend, and staff were uncomfortable too by his demeanour. As he was doing my nails, he cut open my one of my cuticles that was ALREADY HEALED. It wouldn’t stop bleeding and i was so embarrassed that i was repeatedly apologising. He was so irritated by the fact i was bleeding that he announced it to the whole store!! Was saying to another staff member LOUD that “she kept picking her nails and now she’s bleeding” as if i had been picking them throughout the appointment! It wasn’t my fault, and it was also out my control that i was bleeding. I didn’t say anything though because i was so embarrassed and uncomfortable. He ended up literally swapping clients with another staff member so he didn’t have to deal with me. The lady he swapped with was so so nice and made me feel a little more comfortable. I don’t want to come back here again though - in fact, this has ruined my whole experience with getting nails done full stop. Humiliating someone for something so small and out of their control is disgusting."

"Would not recommend going here! Looked at the 4 star rating & thought it would be good. However, I got acrylic nails with my friend and my nail polish has started chipping after a week and super poor quality. Sooooo over priced compared to other nail places and for what you get. My friends nails polish was all wet and 3 of her acrylics chipped and were all wet inside?? And when she went back 3 times to get them fixed they got really mad and refused to give a refund. AWFUL EXPERIENCE"

"I had been a client here for about 10 years. Since the salon has come under new ownership and they changed their name to Nail Society, the prices have become ridiculously expensive. I now go to another nail salon in the Centre and they are exponentially cheaper and do a better job. Apart from one girl working there, they are nowhere nearly as friendly either and rush the job. Disappointing."

"I have been here heaps never go anywhere else till now. Not happy price has gone up and not happy with end result. All the nails on 1 hand are not the right size! And most of them on both hands are not filed down properly so they keep catching my hair. Will not be going back."
