SILK Laser Clinics Brookside

"A warning to anyone purchasing pre-paid packs!! I had every intention on being a long-term loyal customer, so I purchased a 10 pre-paid pack of laser treatments, not to mention all the skin-care products that I was told I had to use before and after future treatments. The initial appointment ended costing my over $500, again happy to pay that if I'm planning on using this company for the next few years. During my 6 appointments with them, not once did anyone mention the expiration date for the packs. Not a single word or warning. Without even knowing my pre-paid packs were 6 days over their expiry date, I had my treatment as usual, and next thing I know they’re asking me to pay for my session. The lady at the desk said her hands were tied and couldn’t honour any of my 4 remaining pre-paid treatments, which is worth over $130. After explaining I felt blindsided by being asked to pay for my treatment, and that no one had ever warned me or given me a heads up about the expiration, the lady at the desk was so unhelpful and placed all the blame on me and said it was written in the T&Cs, and that they have 5,500 customers so that’s too many people for them to contact and let them know about expiry dates. It was an awful experience. I feel foolish to have gone here. The one person that did most of my treatments was lovely but she has resigned and left, which is another sign of a bad company and one to avoid! Don't expect any help from their customer support team. I only received a standard unhelpful line of them being sorry I didn’t receive good service. Really (eyeroll)?!"

The team made her feel relaxed and at ease, took the time to explain what was happening and why, and helped her plan her treatment and management plan. The consult and procedures are always relaxed and easy going, plenty of friendly chats and lots of information shared. They continuously check in throughout treatments and make themselves available if you have an concerns. I was having laser hair removal through another clinic however have since started to go to Silk Brookside as I prefer their clinic and staff. 10 out 10 recommend them to anyone who will listen."
