"I feel like she chooses then and there what to charge and like it's quite overpriced. Unsure if things are new or old. Every question I asked was answered with I don't know. Seems lovely and all... But I feel like I paid alot more than I should have. It's kind of important to know how old the animals are as well. There was a remark made about hens from markets being Battery hens, like as if they were something disgusting, yet I can tell you right now the hens that I brought home from there absolutely have never been outside hens!!!! Beaks trimmed, and they got no clue about outside. Don't knock rescued battery hens when yours aren't much better. 30 hens. In a big cage vs 30 hens in single small cages. difference is yours. Can atleast stand up."
"What an eyesore! Absolute rip off pricing which they make up as they go (barely anything is marked with a price). Items and premises are in filthy condition covered in dust, cockroach droppings and dirt. Brand new cages covered in cobwebs stored haphazardly so now in bad condition yet overpriced, Birds in dirty aviaries and cages. Definitely avoid if you have allergies or respiratory conditions."
"The most unhygienic, disgusting vile store. $8 & $12 dearer than everywhere else & if you want help well... walk straight out. Customer service, prices and overall -5 stars. Awful"
"Feed and fowl bedding is affordable, but feeders, bird cages, etc are very over-priced and always dirty. Customer service is unfriendly."
"The lady behind the counter has been working there for 25 years and I believe she's put her heart and soul into this place. It has a large selection of absolutely everything with more bird cages then you could ever want and a large selection of fish tanks as well. The quality of stock is a bit of a shambles as some looks second hand and some looks new which is not a problem for me. A large collection of animals from chickens to rats some goldfish as well. Last time I was there shop looked in better shape I feel like it's just too much for two staff to handle and a good wipe down of all the shelves and a good dusting could make the place look a lot better."
