About Mindful Counselling Australia
Welcome to Mindful Counselling Australia, located at 56 Clyde Road in Berwick, Australia. As an establishment focused on health and well-being, we are dedicated to helping you achieve optimum mental well-being in your life.
At Mindful Counselling Australia, we believe in the power of cultivating a mindful approach to life. Through our own experiential learning, we have discovered that by becoming aware, open, curious, and present to our experiences, we can live a more meaningful and beneficial life. We understand that acknowledging our experiences and seeking appropriate support is essential for our overall well-being.
Our director, Asha Padisetti, is an experienced psychotherapist, counsellor, meditation practitioner, and educator. Drawing from her own personal experiences, she has developed a systematic approach to help clients find relief from stress, anxiety, and depression. With her guidance, you can embark on a journey towards mental well-being.
We offer specialist counselling services and well-being courses to cater to your individual needs. Whether you require one-on-one sessions or prefer to engage in group therapy, our team is here to support you every step of the way.
In response to the current climate, we now offer Telehealth consultations, allowing you to access our services from the comfort of your own home. Additionally, certain Private Healthcare providers cover part of the counselling session fees, making it more accessible for those in need.
Curiosity is a valuable tool for engaging with our embodied experience, including emotions such as sadness and anxiety. We encourage you to explore simple mindfulness exercises that can help shift your attitude towards these emotions. By approaching them with curiosity, you can gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your emotional well-being.
We also believe in the importance of non-attachment. When we become attached to specific outcomes or ideals, we limit our ability to see the bigger picture. To foster clarity and self-compassion, we offer six science-backed ways to open up and let go of attachment.
Nature has a profound impact on our mental well-being, and we encourage you to connect with it. Writer and health researcher Misty Pratt shares her personal experience of how walking in the woods helped ease her anxiety. By embracing the beauty of nature and recognizing our connection to it, we can find solace and peace within ourselves.
If you are seeking support for your mental well-being, we invite you to reach out to us at 0432 234 004. Let us help you on your journey towards a more fulfilling and balanced life.
