Welcome to RMIT - City Campus Children's Centre, located at 17-25 Lygon Street in Carlton, Australia. Our center is a prominent establishment and a point of interest in the area. We are easily accessible at street level and boast a spacious facility with four floors. Each level features outdoor play areas for the children, and we even have a rooftop play area for them to enjoy.

At RMIT - City Campus Children's Centre, we are dedicated to providing a progressive and consistently high-quality children's service. Our primary focus is on meeting the needs of both the children and their families. We strive to create an environment that nurtures the uniqueness of each child and fosters their overall development.

Our program is designed to enable children to learn and develop essential skills through exploration within an educationally play-based curriculum. We provide a supportive and safe environment that encourages children to thrive. We strongly believe in working in partnership with families, integrating our diverse cultures, backgrounds, beliefs, and attitudes to create a harmonious community.

In addition to our regular childcare services, we also offer a daily Kindergarten program for children who turn three and four on or before 30 April. This program helps prepare children for their transition to formal schooling.

Our dedicated team of educators is committed to providing the highest standard of care and education. All staff members have formal qualifications in Early Childhood Education, and each room at the center is supervised by a qualified staff member with a minimum two-year qualification in Early Childhood Education. Our staff are encouraged to continuously update their knowledge and skills through various professional development opportunities.

RMIT City Campus Children's Centre is a non-profit organization that primarily serves RMIT staff and students. To help cover the cost of childcare fees, the Australian Government provides Child Care Benefit and Child Care Rebate. RMIT staff also have the option to pay fees through salary deduction.

Please note that certain areas of our facility are designated for parent/child use only, and security card access is required. To gain access, please visit a security office. Additionally, the center is a locked-down facility, and RMIT approved access is necessary to use the baby change facilities.
