In line with Kingston's vision for the Mordialloc/Aspendale crossing removal project, we prioritize the safety and well-being of our children. Our centre is designed to provide improved safety measures, better pedestrian and cycling connectivity, as well as ample green spaces for children to explore and connect with nature. We believe that a stimulating environment plays a vital role in a child's growth and development.

We are thrilled to announce that our concept plan for Kingston's new Aquatic and Leisure Centre has been approved, thanks to the overwhelming support from the community. This means that our children will have access to state-of-the-art facilities that promote physical fitness and well-being. We believe in the importance of instilling healthy habits from a young age, and our new centre will provide the perfect platform for children to engage in active play and learn essential life skills.

In celebration of Biodiversity Month, we are partnering with nine neighbouring councils to hold the Biodiversity Blitz 2023. This exciting event allows families to participate by downloading an app and exploring the outdoors, capturing photos of local flora and fauna. Through this initiative, we aim to instill a love and appreciation for nature in our children, fostering a sense of environmental responsibility.

We also offer a range of programs and services to support parents and caregivers. Our free morning sessions provide an opportunity for learning and socializing through play, allowing parents and children to bond and engage in educational activities together. Additionally, we have a strong partnership with Kingston Libraries, Kingston Arts, Waves Leisure Centre, Youth Services, and AccessCare, ensuring that our families have access to a wide range of resources and support.

Lastly, we would like to acknowledge the Bunurong People of the Kulin Nation as the Traditional Owners and Custodians of this land. We pay our respect to their Elders, both past and present, as well as emerging leaders.
