"I'd never heard of the Fuzzy Duck Cafe until one of my daughters suggested we go there. I love how the menu options can be modified. I'm low carbohydrate, healthy fat eating so I don't need bread. Normally I'd leave it which means wastage. I selected No Bread and I received no bread! I enjoyed two poached eggs, hollandaise sauce, bacon, and avocado. The eggs were soft and the yolk was gooey. The avocado was nicely smashed and not over ripe. The bacon was crispy, perhaps a little too much for my liking but delicious just the same. I liked how everything was served on a bed of spinach leaves. We sat outside, it was cold, so wear layers."
"I have been to this place on a few occasions in the past when visiting family, but the coffee and food quality seems to have deteriorated somewhat since my last visit. I ordered cappuccino and bacon & eggs. When paying $5 for a cappuccino I expect it to have a creamy texture not milky. The waiter happily replaced the coffee but the replacement was not much better. The bacon was very fatty. The steel chairs on concrete are very grating on the ears. Staff were great."
"First time coming to fuzzy duck after being recommended a few times and it was quite disappointing, our poached eggs were very overcooked, I asked for the hollandaise sauce on the side and it came ontop of my meal, I didn't send it back because the food took so long to come out. Our drinks came out warm and in a very small cup even after paying extra for a large. We will not be back."
"While driving by I spotted this charming looking cafe and then noticed the Campos coffee sign outside. As I was running early for a nearby meeting I decided to stop to enjoy a cup of Campos, one of my favourite coffees. I immediately loved the casual, rustic vibe, and with lots of outdoor seating and breezes, I decided I would grab some carrot cake and sit awhile. The cake was delicious and the coffee was well made. There's good variety on the breakfast and lunch menu, with some good vegetarian options. It's a great place to be covid safe because it's all spacious outdoor seating and you can order via a QR code on the table, there's no need to queue up to order, or wait for someone to take your order. A young staff member Bailey was especially cheerful, helpful and genuinely engaged with customers. I also noticed him taking great care with his tasks, including wiping down tables with disinfectant. All the staff were very pleasant."
"This cafe is always busy. Be sure to book ahead of time for breakfast or lunchtime slots during the week and during the weekend. You can order virtually via an app from your table if you wish. All the good is fresh and well made. Their toasted sandwiches are made from a super soft bread that reminds you of how sandwiches tasted in the ‘old days’(wholesome and with a bit of love. Coffee is good but just check the strength option. Their standard mug has 3 shots of coffee from memory and the mug is not that large, so it might be too strong for you. Their big breakfast is generous and well prepared and their corn fritters with poached eggs are Yum! They also have a range of lovely smoothies or refreshing juice type drinks. Plenty to choose from. This is a great cafe! Parking can be tricky at times. Very popular and a great asset to this suburb! Bravo!"
