Avondale Heights Early Years Centre
About the Business
Welcome to Avondale Heights Early Years Centre, a renowned establishment and point of interest located at 14-22 Clarendon Street in Australia. As an educational institution, we strive to provide top-quality services for families with children, making us a valuable resource within the community.
At Avondale Heights Early Years Centre, we understand the importance of supporting parents and caregivers in their journey of raising children. That's why our dedicated Maternal and Child Health team offers FREE sleep and settling information sessions specifically designed for children aged zero to three years. These sessions are available at various times and dates, including evenings and Saturday mornings, ensuring flexibility and convenience for all.
For parents of babies under 6 months, we also offer online sessions where you can gain valuable insights and guidance. Alternatively, you can always speak to our experienced maternal and child health nurses, who are ready to provide personalized advice and support.
Ensuring the safety of your child is paramount, which is why we offer complimentary car restraint checks by professional fitters. These sessions, available on Saturday 15 and Saturday 22 April 2023, will ensure that your child's car restraint is adjusted properly and correctly fitted to your car, giving you peace of mind on the road.
Additionally, we are thrilled to announce the return of our popular educational music program, Musical Minds, for babies and young children. This program will take place at the renowned Clocktower Centre in Moonee Ponds, providing a fun and enriching experience for your little ones.
At Avondale Heights Early Years Centre, we also recognize and celebrate the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples during NAIDOC Week celebrations held each July. These festivities are held across Australia, allowing everyone to honor and learn from the rich heritage of these communities.
As we embrace the arrival of spring and eagerly anticipate the upcoming summer, we want to take a moment to acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land - the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung People of the Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to their spirits, ancestors, elders, and community members, both past and present.
Furthermore, we are proud to announce that Moonee Valley City Council, to which Avondale Heights Early Years Centre belongs, acknowledges the climate emergency we are facing. As part of our commitment to a low carbon future, we are delighted to share that our operations have been certified as carbon neutral. This achievement reflects our dedication to sustainability and preserving the environment for future generations.

Reviews
"My kids visit Jenny, the Maternal & Child Health Nurse for their regular check ups - which is in the same centre as AHEY- and she is AMAZING. Always thorough with asking the questions and giving great tips and advice. I have been to other MCHN nurses (like Moonee Ponds,AV) but none of them were that enthusiastic. I think Jenny loves her job and does it at the highest level of perfection and professionalism. She is compassionate and lovely. I look forward for the checkups with her."
"Wonderfully equipped and modern facility with plenty of space for learning and play. Safe outside playground and plenty of activities rooms. Two main areas with lots of breakout play activity areas. Entrance provides a formal reception leading to a hallway connecting all areas. Parking is shared with Milleara Road Library and sport stadium on Clarendon Street corner."
