"We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Reefton Hotel and I cannot emphasize enough how outstanding the experience was. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality. The staff, especially Mark, Raymond, and their team, went above and beyond. The Reefton Hotel itself is charming and a well-maintained establishment. The rooms were simple but clean and provided a comfortable retreat after a day of exploration. Each room has its own bathroom separate to the cabin itself which adds to the rustic charm of the place. The small balcony that overlooks the fast flowing river is therapeutic and makes for a relaxing retreat. The hotel's restaurant served delicious meals with lots to choose from. Meals are of a large size, reasonably priced and super quick to come out. One aspect that truly stood out during my stay was the genuine care and personal attention that Mark, Raymond, and the team showed to all guests. Whether it was providing insightful local recommendations or going the extra mile to ensure everyone's comfort, their dedication was truly commendable. Reefton and surrounds is very picturesque with a rich history and breathtaking natural beauty. The hotel's location allowed easy access to the local attractions, making it a convenient choice for exploration. Overall, our stay at the Reefton Hotel was a real treat, thanks to the outstanding hospitality provided by Mark, Raymond, and their team. I highly recommend the Reefton Hotel and I look forward to returning in the very near future."

"My Wife and I booked accommodation here for the night to celebrate our marriage, we were greeted so warmly by the owners who showed us around and offered us such amazing hospitality. We could hear the river and feel the calmness of the environment, making me feel right back at home as I have been in the Valley my whole life. We had dinner also, my wife had the steak and I had the lasagna which was so delicious and my wife who is a Chef herself was so impressed. We were also greeted by the Pub dog Angus who is absolutely adorable. I highly recommend this place for accommodation and a very nice place to eat. I have been going to Reefton pub for years but out of all the people I've seen run the place, these people absolutely knock it out of the park and have done a fantastic job, it's so nice seeing this pub being at it's amazing potential it always had, with the right people and great team!"

"A true local gem. The Reefton has wonderfully friendly staff and a great country pub atmosphere . The meals were well cooked generous portions served with care. The salmon was cooked to perfection and the Parma’s were huge and delicious with moist tender chicken . 5 stars isn’t enough really."
