Welcome to the Save the Children Op Shop in Caloundra, Australia! Located at 28 Minchinton Street, our institution is more than just a book store - it is a point of interest and a store that offers a unique shopping experience.

When you step into our op shop, you'll find yourself immersed in a world of recycled fashion pieces, toys, books, and even some vintage and modern day gems. But our shop offers more than just retail therapy - every purchase you make helps to create better lives for children in Australia and overseas. Our op shop is run by a team of friendly volunteers who are passionate about making a difference. They add to the unique shopping experience by providing excellent customer service and a warm atmosphere. You'll feel good knowing that your shopping experience is not only enjoyable but also making a positive impact.

In addition to selling donated items, we have partnered with SCRgroup to ensure that even the items that don't find a new home in our op shop have a second chance. Clothing, handbags, manchester, and soft furnishings that can't be sold are either taken overseas to be re-homed or recycled into rags or biofuel. This commitment to sustainability ensures that nothing goes to waste.

Please note that our op shops are unable to accept mattresses. We rely on the dedication of volunteers to keep our stores running smoothly, so our opening hours may be subject to change at short notice depending on volunteer availability. We appreciate your understanding and support.
