Allow me to introduce myself, I am Adan, but I am affectionately known as Papi. With a lifelong passion for food, art, travel, and culture, I have dedicated my career to the hospitality industry. You may recognize me from my appearance on the Restaurant Revolution television program or hear me on the multicultural radio station, 4EB (98.1 FM).

Growing up in the charming town of Metepec, Mexico, I was surrounded by wonderful cafes and restaurants renowned for their delicious homemade cuisine. As a child, I worked alongside my mother, selling fresh fruit juices, desserts, and tacos in our neighborhood market. The enticing aromas, vibrant flavors, and bustling atmosphere of the markets fueled my love for food and the joy it brings to people.

My journey in the hospitality industry led me to work with prestigious cruise line companies, traveling to beautiful destinations and creating lifelong friendships. It was during my time on a cruise ship in Venice that I met my Australian wife, Kelly, against a backdrop of unparalleled romance. We eventually settled in Brisbane, Kelly's hometown, to raise our two beautiful daughters.

However, my dream has always been to open a restaurant where I can share my Mexican culture and passion for exceptional food. Finally, that dream has come true with Papi's Mexican Kitchen. Here, you can experience the authentic flavors of my childhood, with traditional and mouth-watering Mexican street-food that will transport you to the vibrant streets of Mexico.

Located by the waterfront on the stunning Redcliffe Peninsula, our restaurant offers a unique dining experience that will make you feel like you've traveled to Mexico without leaving Australia.
