Reviews of Shields St Eats
"Service Ordered a supreme pizza, that process alone took them 20min to process as they repeatedly tried to overcharge. Very poor service and staff lacked basic serving skills. Pizza Pizza arrived and so poorly cut we could not pull it apart even after trying to cut it with the butter knife given. We requested it be cut. When it was returned we realised it didn’t even have any ham on it at all and there was far less topping on it than a Domino’s pizza for $27. Taste Think crusty cardboard and that’s what the base tasted like. One mouthful was enough to know it was the worst pizza we’ve ever had. Refund We pointed out the lack of ham and very little topping and requested a refund. This was done without apology or explanation. A very disappointing experience and waste of an hour. If you love quality pizza, go elsewhere."
"Terrible experience, placed an order for takeaway online (it was within their business hours and the order was accepted and payment was processed). Went to collect, only to be told they had closed the kitchen early on arrival, they made no attempt to contact to advise. They now will keep hold of our money for 5-6 business days until the refund will be processed. What an absolute joke. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere. Will be ensuring friends and family no of this business’s poor values."
"Stopped by for a late evening gelato and was pleased to see this as an option. Only reason we saw this place sells gelatos is because they have a sign on the sidewalk that says so. Didn’t see any mention of this in the reviews. Gelatos were good, and if i had to nitpick I’d say the scoops could be fuller, however no major complaints here."
