"Waited over two hours for a takeaway order consisting of just one curry and two naans, after being told it would take 40mins. No compensation for the wait. Curry had just four measly bits of meat. Naans were cold. This seems to be a consistent trend at the moment."
"We order food from Ceylon Inn whenever we feel the need for a comforting meal. Everything is super fresh, flavourful and well spiced/seasoned. Definitely the best curry in Brisbane. Naans, amazing and the charcoal grill adds wonderful flavour. Special mention saffron rice, it is *chefs kiss* good. Thank you!"
"I really like the Ceylon Inn and have tried most of the menu. You know how you go to Indian places and the butter chicken is a bit eh? All of the dished I tried were AMAZING. Really good flavours, not too spicy (unless you like the spice). Great location - water falls and good feel to the room. Good for a date night and reasonably priced."
"Don't bother to book if you're going for the weeknight you'd have more chances of getting the best table. If booking, don't expect the restaurant to do something special with what you put on your booking regarding special occasion. Food is average, I'm not of Indian heritage nor a novice Indian food blogger, but I wasn't happy when our meal of 3 curries only got less than 10 smaller than bite size pieces of meat in each dish (yes, I counted them). We have to fish for those pieces of meat. See for yourselves."
"It's always a delight, to make a booking here. It's our family birthday celebration hub. The meals are absolutely delicious with something on the menu for the fussiest of eaters. We often order a jalfrezi, a fish curry, goat curry and the enticingly fragrant saffron rice. Drop in sometime, you'll be glad you did! Prices: about average for Indian restaurant meals. (Good value in my opinion). Booking: required. But they always seem to able to accommodate people. Parking: plentiful in the side streets. Staff: always pleasant and accommodating. Amenities: available at the rear of the premises and are clean. Take away containers are available on request. We always take something away. We don't mind ordering more than we can eat. It's great to enjoy heated up, the next day."
