"The best Indian food, not only in Bracken Ridge, but perhaps in Brisbane. As someone who hates butter chicken it was a real surprise how much I enjoyed Pepper Bites version. I have had their Kadahi offering with various proteins. Always excellent and perfectly tender. As a well documented carnivore it is difficult to admit, but every vegetarian dish I have had so far has been exceptional and well worth getting to supplement the 2 meat curries I always order. The wait staff were lovely and appropriately attentive. All requests were attended to quickly and accurately. The beer offerings were limited to 2, with Kingfisher being the best choice. We went on a Monday night for the first time (we usually order takeaway) and we were they only group there. The decor is clean and the seating area well planned, with ample space between tables. There is outdoor seating, but without heaters this would be a no go in Winter. Really looking forward to our next meal at Pepper Bite Bracken Ridge, with our plans to eat our way through the entire menu in the months to come."
"So we chanced upon this restaurant located at Bracken Ridge. We loved the whole set up of the restaurant that had pictures of famous kollywood actors. The thosai was fresh and tasty. Loved their authentic coconut and spiczy chilli chutney. The Gobi Manchurian was delish but sadly the bhatura (poori) was too thick and it didn't taste like bhatura. Just tasted like a thick dough deep fried. Will Def go back to taste the non veg dishes."
"Good selection of Indian food, catering to both North and South Indian cuisines, focussing on South Indian cuisine in particular. Interiors are adorned with pictures of famous actors and dialogues from various movies. Food quality is consistent although they can get a tad spicy at times."
"That shared platter is amazing value. Mint sauce was...... mint..... samosa was amazing. I don't like fish but the fish was really great. They need to delete the Bombay street food as they don't have it, and I saw a review from 6 months ago saying the same thing. Love this place, I'll be back (said in an Arnie accent). I've just read the other reviews and the 1 star reviews should be taken with a grain of salt. I suspect they own, or are friends with owners of, another Indian joint. ;)"
"We visited a recently opened Indian restaurant. There are indoor and outdoor tables. There are countless types of menus. These are difficult names for us. So, we decided on the recommended menu in advance. 63 chicken is spicy and addictive to the unique smell of spices, so you eat it endlessly. Goes well with beer. The naan here is light. It tasted low in calories. I ate it with vegetarian curry, and it has a very deep taste. Eating delicious food made me feel good"
