Reviews
"While the location, fixtures and decor of the restaurant are very basic and utilitarian, I must say I enjoyed the food a lot. The gentleman at front of house service was helpful and attentive. The food arrived fast and the table service was great. I did not feel forgotten like in other restaurants. I would classify this curry as tasty but not particularly modern. I however, still enjoy this style of Indian and thank the restaurant for their service."
"This place did not disappoint!!! The wife and I ordered tonight and our dishes were absolutely delicious. The vindaloo was divine, chicken Korma was scrumptious, and the Ashari was amazing. The basmati, raita and Naan topped it all off. Best of all there is enough food left over for at least another meal if not two. This is by far our GOTO for Indian cuisine in our area."
"Visited last night with family for the first time and wow! What a hidden gem, everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, came out super fast and so much flavour. Will definitely be coming back again soon. Have tried many Indian restaurants across Brisbane and this is by far one of the best."
"Being a business owner ourselves, we're reluctant to write this review. However, this will be our first and last experience with this business and based on this businesses previous reviews, I would strongly recommend not ordering with Indian Appetite Restaurant until the new owner is prepared to make changes. I totally agree 100% with the previous reviews: We ordered online ($90.50) and waited 1 hour and 10 minutes. When we finally arrived home, the meals were full of sauce with very little meat plus the sauces all tasted the same. Definitely not worth $22+/ container. Their GulavJamun (dessert) was dry and the texture felt like chewing on sand, regardless of the balls sitting in sugar syrup."
