"Zero stars. My mother accidentally locked herself outside the apartment as she forgot to grab the key, she went to management and asked if they could open the door for her. One of the ladies in there was first willing but the other lady told her no and to contact the realestate and get a key from there. Unbelievable. I’m just wondering if this was an emergency for example someone left their kid in their apartment and forgot the key is management not going to help them out?? Absolutely disgusting management."
"I have the same problem with everyone in here tho. The manager makes it like their house, even though we paid for them to manage it. Understand that they should keep the rule tight to make sure people from outside don’t park in there. However, I email them to ask for parking as we are waiting for the upcoming parking spot available to register. Quote the response from them “ we don’t have any spot at the moment; you have to park on the street as the visitor parking is designated for visitors” :) how poor management skill is this!! Many spots there, and we can’t even park in our house for those stupid reasons :) that is completely nothing beneficial for people who live in the apartment. It’s just their poor way to think and manage :)"
"Property management sucks as staff are impolite and stubborn. As staff never put resident as there first priority. Strongly recommend to change all the brainless staff to make here a better place to live. Very slow and insufficient maintenance, brainless and impolite staff and strict rules from the communist party. Have lots of examples but would take me a day to write them all. One example is a screaming man with a hat who literally told my friend to "Immediately disappear from the visitor parking spot" in a very rude attitude when I forget to register my friend's car. I know it is my fault as i forget to register my friend's car. But the guy just yelled at my friend and literally looked like he wanted to kill my friend. Hopefully that screaming geezer will lose his job as he brought fear and unfriendliness to resident's visitor. No wonder why the rating of this apartment is less than 3 stars as most people commented they have issue with the property management. Totally 0 idea why are People including me are paying expensive management fee for this kind of ridiculously poor management. Perhaps the building might turn to a better place when the property management company leave. Would rather spending those money in the casino rather than unsuitable personnel for Winston management which brings frustrations and confusion to the residents. Hopefully people are noticing the poor management and service quality of Winston Asset management. When resident are abiding by the rules, the property management team somehow makes misjudgements, wrongly accusing residents that they fail to follow the rules. When we attempt to register at the visitor parking spot, they might disregard the registration then put notices or warnings on the car to chase visitors away. Hopefully people who are planning to moved to sky garden will have to consider the poor management from this company because they are selfish. If you have friend's with cars who would like to come and park at the visitor parking, this is not a place for you to live or park at garden city. Also don't expect the lady in the office room to solve any issues that cause inconveniences to you because she will shirk responsibilities."
"Loathsome and ludicrous building management. They also have a bad attitude when dealing with residents' concerns. I finally understand why a lot of people warned me about the poor building management here. I've got an issue with my parking spaces due to the leaking overhead pipes that are likely to cause paint damage to our cars. I got my property agent/ manager to report this issue. Then, no updates. After that, I visited the office to follow up the issue because the white marks from the leaking pipes got even more obvious. The lady in the office said she did not see any leakage during inspection. While she went for another inspection, she saw the leakage, then advised to clear off the parking spaces and permitted to park the cars at the visitor parking in order for the plumber to inspect. After a few days, I did not receive any updates about when I could move the cars back to their designated parking spots, but parking notices and warnings were received. So, I sent them an email to see if they had made an error and to receive an update about the leakage situation. After that, no response! A couple of days later, I found that they issued another parking warning. Then, I sent them a second email to follow up on the issue. I received a response from them, but it was disappointing to read. The response from them shows their ignorance of the issues, bad attitude, lack of responsibility and the way they passed the buck."
"First of all, I want to say that the property management here is really bad and slow. However, the manager lady is easy to communicate with. The living environment is pretty good, mainly because it is close to Garden City. Last year, there was a property manager lady who had a really unreasonable attitude. What you want to ask her, basically I don’t know, I don’t understand, this is not my responsibility. I guess she should have been complained many times, so she left."
