Welcome to Dorish Maru College - Divine Word Missionaries, located at 100 Albion Road, Box Hill, Australia. Our institution, under the patronage of St. Joseph Freinademetz SVD, is a point of interest and a university that warmly welcomes you to our residence.

Dorish Maru College is named in memory of the brave individuals who tragically lost their lives on the ship "Yorishime Maru" during World War II in 1944 off Papua New Guinea. The missionaries aboard the ship came to know it as "Dorish Maru." We honor their sacrifice by dedicating our lives to their memory and striving to make a positive impact in the world.

As you explore our website, you will discover that Dorish Maru College embraces a truly multicultural environment. Our community is made up of individuals from diverse backgrounds, fostering an inclusive and culturally aware atmosphere.

In a world facing numerous challenges, such as the Covid-19 pandemic, conflicts, institutional issues, poverty, environmental threats, and growing indifference, the Spirit calls upon us to come together in solidarity for healing and resurrection. As a missionary church, we recognize the need for prophetic action and renewed purpose in order to create a more harmonious and integral vision of humanity as envisioned by God.

At Dorish Maru College, we offer various events and activities that promote our mission. Join us for the Mission Day Seminar at 3:00 pm, followed by the Mission Day Eucharist at 6:00 pm. Afterward, indulge in a multicultural meal and dance at 7:00 pm, where you can experience the richness of different cultures coming together.
