About the Business
Dear parents,
We are delighted to announce that after two consecutive years of being impacted by the pandemic, New Chinese Language and Culture School will reopen for all students and parents in the 2022 academic year. We can finally resume our in-person classroom teaching and have face-to-face interactions with parents and children, rediscovering the joyful and healthy campus atmosphere.
The unexpected outbreak of the pandemic has posed great difficulties for regular teaching. Due to the closure of the campus during the lockdown, the school's educational and research work faced significant challenges. In order to ensure that children continue to learn Chinese with quality during the pandemic, our school and teachers have overcome numerous obstacles and dedicated more time and effort than usual. We have embraced the motto of "no class suspension, continuous learning" and successfully ventured into online teaching, reaping fruitful results. Our parents and friends have also provided substantial support in assisting the school's teaching work. Thanks to everyone's strong support during the pandemic, our children did not neglect their studies and waste their time.
The arrival of the 2022 academic year is eagerly anticipated by all of us. After experiencing this period, we believe that everyone has learned to cherish and truly appreciate the happiness of hearing the sound of children reading in a physical classroom.
The first semester of the New Chinese Language and Culture School in 2022 will commence on February 5th and 6th. Parents, please prepare your children for the start of the school year. We thank you for your trust because it is with the support and active participation of parents that our education is complete and our children's development is healthier and more excellent! Let us look forward to a warm reunion with parents and children in the new semester!

"Related to Balwyn High School Branch/Franchise: Sort out your admin/front desk staff. One male (young 20's-30's) staff in particular. I don't care how you are brought up, whether it is here in Australia or in China. I don't care how bad a day you are having, how busy it is or whether you are the son/nephew/cousin/friend of the owner or owner for that matter. You MUST treat your customers or prospective customers with respect. Treat them the way you would want to be treated. That is to say do not turn your back on your customers and insult them or whine about them to the other staff. Doesn't matter in what language, whether it is in english or mandarin. You need to either remove him from reception or train him to treat your customers with politeness and respect."
"I mean u have to come here anyways if u want to take Chinese VCE, the place ain’t bad it’s just what u have to deal with if u want to do Chinese VCE"
"The first language of VCE Chinese is generally taught here, although many people have suggested to come here to supplement Chinese, if you take the language of the Victorian college entrance examination. I signed up for the Chinese class test here this year. I usually get a B+ in school, but when the results came out, I only got 27 naked scores. A little disappointed, I can only take the exam again in the 12th grade plan."
"Xinjinshan is an old brand, and our family, Xu Xiangxiang, attends Saturday intensive classes at the Thornbury campus of Xinjinshan Cultural School. His Chinese teacher is Lou Ting. My father is usually responsible for picking up and dropping off my children to Chinese class, so I don’t have many opportunities to meet and communicate with the teacher. This year, I found that Thinking Chinese has improved by leaps and bounds, not only in Chinese writing, but also in dictation. Thinking about it, my father seldom praises others, but he mentioned that Mr. Lou is serious and responsible and has a strict teaching style several times. For example, if the child is late, the parents will be "criticized"; if the child does not go to class, the teacher will ask the reason. What surprised me was that the father who thought about it went from often sending his children late to class, and not participating in the children's study tutoring on weekdays, to now consciously getting up early on Saturdays, and checking his children's homework when he returned home, and tutoring his children in Chinese. Teacher Lou not only patiently taught children to learn Chinese, but also mobilized the enthusiasm of parents. Their campus management is also very strict, and the teachers will timely release learning information and after-class guidance in the class group every week. Every time before and after class, the campus management staff are also dedicated, patient and friendly. Once the child's father was late to pick up the child, and when they arrived at the office, their management staff stayed with us from beginning to end to think about it. And also gave him some snacks to fill his stomach and appease him. We are really touched. Personally, I give the school a good rating!"
"Very terrible experience! Dealing with the principal surnamed Tang of the school's balwyn campus (the current classroom is located in boxhill) allows you to fully experience the domestic style of bureaucratic and unconscionable behavior of swallowing money. Four weeks after the school started, we got in touch with the principal surnamed Tang by phone. According to his suggestion, there was no entrance test, and there was no trial class for 20 yuan. After the trial class, the child's experience was very bad, and he asked whether he could withdraw from school and get a refund. The principal categorically rejected: no refund! The reason is: their school stipulates that refunds can only be made within three weeks of the start of school! We enroll in the middle of the class, so even if we attend a class, we will not be refunded! Although their trial class fee is only 20 yuan! Under the absurd reason, all he saw was greedy for profit and swallowing black money. During the telephone communication, the principal surnamed Tang hung up the phone rudely and refused to answer the phone many times. After that, we only got to his office to find his face-to-face theory to solve the problem! She used the excuse that she was busy, without giving any explanation or arrangement, just picked up her bag and ran away! The scene was as if we were chasing debts and she was hiding from debts! And I will only give one sentence: I will give you an option, that is, to make up the entrance test, but there will be no refund! If there was any plan to change the school district before, then at this moment, it is absolutely impossible for us to entrust our children to them with peace of mind, even if there is only one class a week! In desperation, we dug out the receipt when we signed up and checked it. There is a clear refund policy: that is, within three weeks after enrollment, refunds can be made! In black and white, they wrote "after school", not after school! But in order not to get a refund, the principal surnamed Tang directly said that the refund would be made within three weeks after the start of school without our serious inspection of the receipt! Looking at the receipt from her school, she still forcibly argued: They printed it wrong! Hehehe... Because there is evidence, we no longer need to entangle and theory with it! Send a complaint letter to it the next day, and refund within 10 working days! Otherwise, escalate the complaint to Consumer Affairs Victoria, Fair Trading, Ombudsman and other relevant agencies! Four days later, I received a financial notice from Xinjinshan Cultural School and asked to provide bank account information so that they can refund! After paying the annual tuition fee of 506 yuan and taking one class, after deducting the so-called handling fee, the refund amount is 331 yuan! In other words, their handling fee is as high as 100 yuan. And just recently, when I contacted other nearby Chinese schools and asked about the refund policy, the person in charge of the other party replied: Refunds can be made at any time. The conditions are: 1. 1 week's advance notice is required; 2. A handling fee of 10 yuan is to be deducted. All other unattended courses will be refunded. That's the difference. There is no need to say anything else."
