"The restaurant had a great atmosphere from the moment we walked in with a beautiful layout, wall art, music and even TV video of Greece. The owner and staff were extremely friendly and it was a relaxing environment for a night out. My friend and I ordered the 2 person meat banquet for 3 people and it was a good size, each course being as delicious as the last. I don’t even particularly like dips normally and all 4 I tried were amazing! When my friend is back down in Melbourne we would love to go back and try the seafood banquet and it’s certainly a place I recommend to go for Greek cuisine!"

"We were catching up with longtime friends for dinner last night and we were all very disappointed. The restaurant was full and very noisy then the music was turned on louder than the talking, you couldn't even hear yourself speak let alone the person on the other side of the table. Then the food came out, dips, very ordinary, grilled octopus was still raw so was sent back. I was excited to be told they had Dakos salad which I had 3 times in Nafplio in Greece earlier this year which was amazing, but it was just cherry tomatoes and cream cheese with balsamic vinegar. (That's not a Dakos salad) (Chef: please check online for recipes on ingredients for a Dakos salad.) I sent it back because it was meant to have barley rusks, I was served another with the rusks which hadn't even been soaked ( you can break a tooth trying to bite them) so I sent it back and told them I won't be paying for it. One of our friends, ordered the Prawn saganaki and it was swimming in an oily soupy mess, that was also sent back. All up we were very disappointed, didn't enjoy the meals or the atmosphere. The staff were great, helpful and very apologetic but unfortunately we won't be returning or recommending the restaurant to others. Photo attached of a true Dakos salad, - Soaked barley rusks, ripe tomatoes, olives, capers, cream cheese, oregano, and seasoning. Everything had olive oil and they gave you some vinaigrette to pour over the top."

"Seriously best Greek restaurant in Melbourne. Hugo is such a lovely man with a beautiful heart and love for food and good customer experience. You feel the goodness in the food and it really feels like a big warm hug. Honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough, my partner and I will be back. We are so happy to support this beautiful family business. We also love there’s so many vegetarian options! Can’t wait to go again!!"
