"Was a bit disappointed by the book selection but was able to find some that I liked. The ‘intimacy and solitude’ by Stephanie Dowrick was a really enlightening find and I’m glad to have picked it up. The last 3 images are from said book."
"this place is ridiculous. i found a pair of old hiking boots (covered in mud), asked the price. the woman said $25 as they cost a lot new. which i don't understand.. they are not new, and they were literally donated at no cost to the shop. the prices here are so silly."
"Please note this is not an op shop. I keep hearing people say it is. They’re a business, that accepts donations, on-sells them, then donates 10% of their ‘profits’ not their income, to diabetes Australia. In business, this donation to a not for profit organisation is a tax break. Most businesses do this. Genius business marketing idea for Savers really. But your prices can not always be justified in this case seeing not all proceeds are going to charity and you don’t have the overheads of stock purchases. Still a good place to spot a bargain at times, just know what you’re looking for and what it’s worth. Or alternatively, shop at a not-for-profit op shop. Low stars have been given due to: *unwashed clothing being sold without being checked for defects and priced accordingly *offering exchange of products only *staff often being rude to customers and complaining about being at work. (People who volunteer at op shops are much friendlier)"
"A lot of heavily damaged clothing being sold at a high price simply because of the name on the label. Books are $5 now and while the price has gone up the collection has reduced in size. Virtually no CD's anymore. Staff wear Satanic symbol earrings, the wait for the changing rooms on a busy weekend is around 30 minutes and when you get inside its filthy and full of uncollected coat hangers. The weirdest part is the doors to exit the store don't seem to function correctly and do not open when you try to leave, you have to stand there and move around to get them to open. There are better used goods stores out there."
"Great place for clothing, shoes, toys, crockery, Manchester and furniture items. Very large store and also lots of bargains New things come in on a daily basis. Prices very reasonable . Changing rooms can get quite busy.bought these shoes for $12.00 for both."
