About the Business
Welcome to Maternal & Child Health Centre - Eltham Woods, located at 50 Frank Street, Eltham, Australia. As an establishment dedicated to the health and well-being of mothers and children, we offer a range of services and support to families living in Nillumbik.
Our Maternal and Child Health (MCH) program is provided by highly qualified MCH nurses who are here to assist families with young children from birth to school age. We understand the challenges and joys of parenting, and our nurses are ready to provide guidance and support in areas such as health, safety, parenting, and growth and development.
At Maternal & Child Health Centre - Eltham Woods, we strive to make it easy for parents and carers to access the services, support, and information they need to keep their families healthy, happy, and safe. Our dedicated MCH nurses will not only provide valuable information about programs and services but also help you find your nearest MCH centre and book your first key age and stage visit.
From birth to three and a half years, we follow ten key ages and stages, ensuring that you are well-informed about each milestone and how our maternal and child nurses can assist you. Additionally, we offer a range of programs for new parents and provide resources to support your child's growth and development.
Rest assured that our nurses are highly qualified, with backgrounds in general nursing, midwifery, and maternal and child health. They continuously update their knowledge and skills to provide the best care possible. Furthermore, all our MCH nurses are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Authority, ensuring their expertise and professionalism.
To make accessing information even more convenient, we offer the MCH app, which provides reliable and essential information for Victorian families. The app is available in multiple languages, including Arabic, Chinese (Simplified), Dari, Khmer, Persian, Punjabi, Spanish, and Vietnamese.
In partnership with Banyule Council Immunisation Service, we also offer immunizations as part of the National Immunisation Program Schedule. Most immunizations are provided for free, ensuring the health and well-being of your child.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been closely following the recommendations of the Chief Health Officer, as well as the Australian and Victorian governments, to prioritize the safety of everyone involved. We are committed to protecting the health of you, your family, and our staff.
