"What an absolute nightmare."
"I consulted Dr. Hanu (Hanumant) Chouhan at this St John of God Specialist Centre located at Level1, Suite 1.3, 55 Kangan Drive Berwick 3806 VIC. My review is for the service I received from this colorectal surgeon as well as the clinic. Posting this so it will help someone else make a better decision. I found Mr Hanu Chouhan disappointing and quite poor as a doctor. When you go to a colorectal surgeon, you are usually already in pain, discomfort and worried as I was. Dr. Hanu for starters seemed to be rushing things quite a bit and we had to push to get any further useful information out of him. Secondly, he seemed to lack empathy and just humane qualities you'd expect from another human being, let alone a doctor. Dr. Hanu just added to my stress and worrying, he was at times rude and refused to be contacted. It's sad that such pseudo medical professionals exist nowadays, who may be technically skilled but act in such unkind and unhelpful manner not fit for a professional. I suppose humane qualities cannot really be taught. I changed my colorectal surgeon immediately, and wished I had done it sooner. Hope this helps someone else. The two starts are for the staff at the clinic who were actually lovely and try their best to help out."
