About the Business
Welcome to Carrum Downs Medical Centre, located at 113A Hall Road in Carrum Downs, Victoria. We are a trusted institution offering comprehensive healthcare services to our community.
As a trusted medical centre in the area, we provide a range of services to meet the diverse needs of our patients. Our dedicated team of doctors and healthcare professionals are committed to delivering high-quality care and ensuring the well-being of our patients.
At Carrum Downs Medical Centre, we offer both face-to-face and telehealth consultations, providing convenience and flexibility for our patients. From Monday 24th July, 2023, there will be a modest increase of $2 for all consultations, applicable to both face-to-face and telehealth appointments during weekdays. Additionally, consultations occurring after 8pm will also be subject to this increase. Please note that there will be no change to the out-of-pocket costs.
We understand the importance of immunizations, especially during flu season. That's why we encourage you to book an appointment to secure your influenza vaccination. Eligible individuals, including special risk groups and children from six months to under five years of age, can receive the seasonal influenza vaccine for free under the National Immunisation Program (NIP).
In light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we also offer COVID-19 vaccination boosters. Winter dose eligibility includes individuals who are 65 years and over, residents of aged care or disability care facilities, individuals aged 16 years and older with severe immunocompromise, and Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander persons aged 50 years and older.
We understand that the past couple of years have been challenging for everyone. As a clinic, we have adapted to the circumstances and supported our patient community to the best of our abilities. Initially introduced as a temporary service during the COVID-19 pandemic, our telehealth consultations were bulk-billed to assist patients who were facing financial difficulties and juggling work commitments during lockdowns. As telehealth becomes a more permanent part of our practice, we continue to prioritize the well-being and convenience of our patients.
If you are in need of medical assistance or have any health concerns, we invite you to visit Carrum Downs Medical Centre. Our experienced team is here to provide you with personalized and compassionate care. Contact us today to book your appointment.

"The reception staff, nurses and Dr Vanessa Haller were fantastic to deal with when organising my dive medical. If I lived closer, I’d be hoping I could make this clinic and Dr Haller my regular GP!"
"What a terrible medical centre. When my father passed away I had to tell them on more than one occasion so that they would stop sending him reminders and now after seeing my husband on a number of occasions the doctor tending him left and no one else will see him. So much for looking after people."
"Best clinic. I have been going here since I was a baby. Dr. Haller is by far the best doctor and is incredibly caring. I moved away from the South East suburbs and I still visit Vanessa and the clinic. Amazing staff, from everyone at reception, nurses and doctors!"
"I’ve been coming here for nearly three decades and I couldn’t recommend the service and care more. Over the last 2 years, over the COVID times, the service the clinic has provided in testing and vaccinations is unparalleled to other clinics on the Mornington peninsula. I am grateful to the doctors, nurses and administration/reception staff for putting up with the stress of these unprecedented times!"
"The doctor seemed nice. Was just a shame about your reception staff. So abrupt and rude from the moment I walked in. She really made my first visit so negative. I work in medical administration and I would NEVER speak to patients like that. Spoke over me, basically gave me lip when I was trying to nicely explain my situation. Didn’t get a name but it was the mature aged receptionist with blonde/possibly Grey? Hair and With too much eyeliner on :)"
