"Booked an appointment for a RAT for international travel. There was no line, went straight in. Staff were really friendly and completed the correct form for travel free of charge. A lot of the private companies charge $60-80 each. Excellent service. Thank you"
"The whole thing is a disgrace. A 3yr old shouldn’t be forced to stand out on the footpath on a 30 degree day for waiting for covid test. What has our government been doing for the past two years aside from standing in front of tv cameras for 3 or 4 hours a day telling us what good job they’re doing and how they’ve got it under control. Absolutely disgusting."
"So glad I booked my Covid-19 PCR test here - I was in and out in 10 minutes. The line for testing wasn’t too bad for those who didn’t book either. The staff were lovely and the whole clinic was very efficient. They also gave me a free RAT to take home. Highly recommend."
"This place is a stain on Rosebud. They used to tell people to wait in their cars until their appointment time, but now they facilitate queues on the footpath. This means that pedestrians have to walk past the unwell. I feel sorry for the neighbouring newsagency."
"When I called to ask whether I'd be able to speak with a doctor here at the time of my first vaccination, to discuss concerns around AstraZeneca in the context of an autoimmune condition, it was 'oh yes, of course, absolutely'. But on the day there was no doctor, at least not that I could see. Further, the clinic appeared to be overcrowded; and I wasn't asked on entry whether I'd made an appointment - the staff member just waved me off to sit in a particular area that didn't seem to constitute a queue. I noticed people's names weren't being called before they entered vaccination cubicles, so I asked one of the staff where people with appointments should be sitting. Only then was I placed in a queue - which comprised chairs placed far closer to one another than 1.5 metres; worse yet, some patients had masks sitting on their chins, rather than properly fitted, and nobody addressed this. And despite having registered online and presented my Medicare card, I was asked the same questions several times over, by three different staffers. Staff seemed overwhelmed, and it felt like a cattle pen. Those in charge of seeing patients in and out of the (single, narrow) door didn't hold back incoming patients to let those of us who were done leave the building; we had to barge through the incoming rush, literally. Finally, those of us receiving AstraZeneca were advised that we could choose to receive a second dose from the 8-week mark onwards, but that there'd be greater efficacy from waiting until 12 weeks. Just a few minutes' research on reputable sites indicates that while this might have been the case with the original virus, there's no such evidence of such increased efficacy against Delta, and that the best thing to do in the midst of rising infections is to get a second dose sooner rather than later. I'm loath to criticise the staff, who were obviously under considerable duress, but my experience here was appalling. Most importantly, I didn't feel safe. Booked with a GP for my second dose."
