Starting from January 1st, 2023, we will be introducing mixed billing consultations. This decision is due to the rising costs associated with daily business expenses in the current economic climate. We have to attach a certain amount of fee to continue operating and provide the best care possible.

During your visit, our experienced general practitioners will provide a range of services tailored to your needs. GP consultations will attract out-of-pocket fees, which vary depending on the type of service requested. Full payment is required on the day of your appointment, and we accept debit/credit card or cash.

We understand that some patients may face financial difficulties. If you have difficulty meeting the costs of your consultation, please discuss this with our staff before booking. We will work with you to arrange a plan that allows us to provide our services while considering your circumstances.

Please note that a cancellation fee of $10 will be applied if you fail to turn up to your appointment or cancel within 2 hours of the scheduled consultation. This fee must be paid prior to your next appointment.

As part of our commitment to providing convenient healthcare, we offer telephone appointments to existing patients who have attended a face-to-face appointment at our practice within the last 12 months. This aligns with the Australian Government Medicare Guidelines.

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we strongly recommend that all patients wear a fitted face mask when visiting our clinic in person. This is to ensure the safety of both patients and staff.

At 755 Sayers Road Medical Centre, we have a Zero Tolerance Policy for abusive and threatening behavior directed towards our doctors, nurses, and staff. This includes yelling, swearing, threatening actions, inappropriate gestures, and name-calling. Non-compliance with this policy will result in the involvement of the police, and your care will be transferred to another medical clinic.
