We are thrilled to announce the opening of our newest comprehensive clinic in Lara. Situated next to the new Lara Specialist Centre, our clinic boasts the first CT scanner in Lara, along with digital X-ray and ultrasound services. Just like our other RIS clinics, most of our services, including procedures, are bulk-billed. This reaffirms our commitment to providing accessible and high-quality healthcare to the growing western corridor.

As an independent diagnostic imaging provider, RIS is privately owned and operated by a team of experienced radiologists and imaging professionals. Our journey began in 2006 with the aim of delivering efficient, high-quality imaging services in a convenient and affordable model to the local community. Since then, we have expanded to multiple practices across the Western Region of Melbourne and Western Sydney.

In addition to providing general imaging services to primary and specialist healthcare providers, we also offer regular dedicated subspecialized services such as our musculoskeletal and liver clinics. Our team of highly accomplished radiologists brings extensive expertise in all subspecialties, with years of experience providing care and education in major public hospitals across Melbourne.

At RIS, our warm and experienced imaging and clerical team is dedicated to promoting person-centered care with compassion and respect. We believe in delivering affordable healthcare without incurring out-of-pocket costs, with the majority of our services being bulk-billed, including procedures.

Booking an appointment with any of our clinics is easy and can be done over the phone. Appointments are required for CT and ultrasound examinations, including procedures, while appointments for X-ray examinations are generally not necessary. To make an appointment, please ensure you have a referral from your doctor or healthcare provider (we accept referrals on any radiology provider form) and bring along your Healthcare, Pension, or Department of Veteran Affairs Card if applicable.
