"I would give 0 stars if possible. Absolutely horrible experience don't bother going here. They are extremely unprofessional. I turned up to my appointment to be told the radiographer wasn't there. What!? Was then called 15mins later saying are you coming back I'm here now. Ah no! Made another appointment and once again I turned up and nobody was there. Absolute waste of my time!!!!!!"

"Feeling quite disappointed. Staff were unclear on the pricing for first appointment, I was $155 out of pocket when originally told it would be $40. For my second appointment, no one told me what I needed to do to prepare for it, so when I got there I had to step out of my scan, do the prep and then wait even longer. To put this into perspective- I live 10 minutes away from the clinic, my appointment was at 10:30, I got home at 1pm. I left my appointment feeling confused and concerned, as the technician who did my scan constantly spoke over the top of me, I couldn’t ask a question without her interrupting me- I found this distressing. I ignored the bad reviews and booked with them anyway, perhaps take this as a warning not to do the same."

"I had a shocking experience at YPS Mooroolbark one Sonographer I had was completely incompetent, admin staff are not helpful and unclear about out-of-pocket fees for certain scans. I have sent multiple emails to try and resolve our issue to which they have been ignored. Would NOT recommend anyone to go there."

"Would give 0 stars if possible - purely due to the excessive amount of unnecessary stress this place caused me over an already stressful time of year (Christmas time). My appointment was fine, the sonographer was lovely. I do feel he gave some information he may not have been qualified to do. He said he was putting through my results as ‘urgent’ and I would hear back within the next business day. 3 days later - nothing. Both my GP and I had called and were told the results were coming. The day before my GP was due to close for 3 weeks, I was told the results weren’t able to be finalised because the ONLY person they had who can read the scan had Covid. Miraculously 2 hours later, the results were back after me begging for them to give me something - I was expecting worst case scenario after what I was told in person at the scan. The results concluded to me being told I have 6 (very big) suspicious lumps in my breasts at the age of 28. My GP advised an ultrasound guided biopsy would be needed. YPS couldn’t give me an exact date for when this could be done with them so I asked me GP for a referral to somewhere else that could do them. This other place (very well known) advised they will do the biopsy but needed to do their own ultrasound first due to protocols. Thank gosh they did. 10 days after the first scan with YPS, I had 2 sonographers at this other clinic scan me (one being the senior sonographer), they advised me they have never even heard of YPS, they also scanned for a VERY long time and COULDN’T FIND ANYTHING. 1 small lump that was non suspicious. Not one other thing could be found. My GP has stated their clinic will not be referring any patients to YPS anymore, as they have had a few problems with YPS. I also will never go back nor will I ever recommend it to anyone. Clearly is not the first time this type of thing has happened given one of the reviews below - imagine how many others this has happened too but they just haven’t written a review. If you’re struggling to find a place for scans - try capital radiology or marina radiology."

"Do not recommend! Firstly their waiting area really needs a good clean, it was extremely dirty and dusty. The toilets had no toilet paper both times I visited. First ultrasound the sonographer was more interested in teaching students than giving me an update. No printing services for photos either. Second time, the TV wasn't working so i couldn't see anything then the sonographer gave me some bad news and quickly ran out of the room . I do not expect a therapy session but some normal compassion would have been appreciated. Please go somewhere else."
